This privacy statement discloses what information we collect and how we use it. By using our website, you agree to be bound by this policy. We welcome your comments.

Security

This website takes every precaution to protect our visitors' information. When visitors submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected.

The servers where we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment. If you have any questions about security of our website, please contact us.

Information collection

When you visit our website, we collect your computer's IP address. We also collect identifying information (such as your name, address, and e-mail address) that you knowingly provide to us when subscribing to use the P2Tools database.

We consider information you provide (such as your name, mailing address and telephone number), and optional information you provide (such as your job title and/or other demographics), and your computer's IP address to be personal and private information.

When you provide information about yourself, we use that information internally to verify legitimate use of P2Tools by subscribers, to notify you about website updates, and to remind you about subscription periods and renewals.

If you do not wish to be contacted regarding website updates, please contact us.  Sandra Wyman & Associates will not disclose any information you provide to us to any third party without first notifying you and obtaining written permission to do so, unless:

1. You have consented to such disclosure.
2. We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of Sandra Wyman & Associates to provide a product or service to you. Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us. (For example, Sandra Wyman & Associates uses an outside company to manage its member database.)
3. Disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with the law or with legal process; (b) protect and defend our rights and property; (c) protect our members, subscribers, or registrants from misuse or unauthorized use of the Pollution Prevention Consulting site; or (d) protect the personal safety or property of our members, subscribers, registrants, or the public.
4. You provide false membership, subscription or registration information, or if you attempt to pose as someone else, both private and personal information about you -- including your computer's IP address -- may be disclosed as part of any investigation into your actions.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. The P2Tools database subscriber section uses non-persistent cookies, which expire when the browser closes. None of the cookies used on P2Tools contain any personal user information. They are only used to track legitimate subscriber use of the database.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you prefer, you can set your browser to refuse cookies; however, the P2Tools database subscriber section will not function properly if you do so.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes so our visitors are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
