About Us

Sandra Wyman is a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) who conducts P2 consulting for a broad range of manufacturing clients. Ms. Wyman has a B.S. Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), an MBA from Bentley College, and is a Massachusetts licensed Toxics Use Reduction Planner. Prior to starting Sandra Wyman & Associates, her engineering experience included positions with:

• Monsanto Corporation -- As a Process Engineer, she formed and managed teams of WPI student interns who developed an alternate filtration method that eliminated hazardous waste. Studies were done to reduce distillation energy use and facility solvent losses. A computer model for a polymer washing process was developed to optimize water use.
• Air Products & Chemicals Company -- As a Development Engineer for the pulp and paper industry, she implemented new processes in: waste water treatment, black liquor oxidation, oxygen bleaching (first North American Eo installation), tall oil recovery, and nitrogen inerting.
• Foxboro Company (now a division of Siebe PLC) -- As an Application Engineer, she defined the scope and configured a $650,000 computerized control system at a South Carolina pulp and paper mill. This system was used on the causticizing recycle loop of the pulp mill.

Sandra is a member of the WPI Chemical Engineering Department Advisory Board, the Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industries (TAPPI), the American Water Works Association (AWWA), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Tina LeBlanc, an Associate, assists in a number of areas, such as database data entry, report compilation, training, and web site updates. Tina previously worked as an Administrative Assistant with The Butcher Company in Marlborough MA, and has extensive experience in database implementation.

Other Associates are assigned according to project demands.
